At Quintral International School we provide a quality, experiential education that promotes inquiry and develops life-long learners. Our emphasis on community and holistic learning fosters a sense of belonging, ignites curiosity, honors play and amplifies autonomy and self discovery. Meaningful and transformative interactions with the natural world cultivate interdependence, inspire reciprocity and empower young people to engage in an emerging regenerative culture.
Vision
Our goal is to guide the discovery of each human’s unique purpose in the world through exposure and respect for their distinct gifts and passions. We prepare young people for a lifetime of healthy interactions with the environment and the beings that inhabit it: human, animal and inanimate. We aim for our graduates to serve as the next generation of compassionate and cooperative leaders, prepared to engage in sustainable ways of living in a richly diverse world.
Core Values
Respect
All beings (human, animal and inanimate) deserve respect. We believe respect lies at the core of all healthy relationships and we promote respectful interactions and communication between our environment, our community, our staff, our students and their families.
Autonomy
The ability to make decisions about one’s own life is a fundamental human need that exists for people of all ages and abilities. In offering our students autonomy, we are encouraging them to come to know their authentic selves and fostering internal motivation for learning and growth.
Compassion
Our world is desperate for compassion. In order to resolve society’s greatest problems, we need to work side by side with others. Teamwork necessitates compassion and empathy, as humans learn to see the world from other perspectives and understand that we are all connected.
Interdependence
Believing the lie that each human is independent from others and from the rest of the world around them leads to competition, exploitation and selfishness. Nature is a web of interdependent interactions and collaborations and it is pressing that we humans have a deep understanding of this web, so we can live sustainably.
Sustainability
We are optimistic that through the teaching and modeling of regenerative living, the next generation can use their skills and knowledge to live in sustainable harmony with the natural world.

Resilience is the ability to adapt to challenges and adversity. At Quintral, we allow students the space needed to face and overcome challenges, no matter how impossible, daunting or time-consuming they might at first appear.
